What we’re all about
Our kids' groups are a place where children encounter God in a fun and safe environment. With engaging activities, relevant Bible teaching, and caring leaders, kids of all ages can learn about Jesus and grow in their faith while having fun and making new friends.

Meet Ruth, our Childrens & Families Pastor
Ruth moved here from Portsmouth in 2010 with her husband, Perry and their 4 children. Ruth has led children's work for many years, including heading up 'Rock Solid' at New Wine and is passionate to see children and their parents connect with God.
Activities in the week
Toddler Group
A welcoming place for parent's, carers and grandparents with their little ones. At the Lantern Church from 10-11:30am. Contact Ruth for more info or to sign up!
Going deeper Bible Study
On Wednesday afternoons between 4:30 and 5:30pm in the Hub, we have our ‘Going Deeper’ Bible Study for years 5 and 6. Our detached Youth worker Skittles helps to run it, and it’s a great way for our older kids to transition into our youth groups.
Saturdads
SATURDADS is a monthly toddler group for dads (and grandads) and their kids up to age 7. On the first Saturday of the month 10:00-11:30 in the Lantern church. Toys and toast for the kids and random monthly challenges & bacon rolls for the dads. We have a brief Bible talk normally involving the kids. First session is free then £1 per family.
The Lantern Preschool
The Lantern Preschool; We have our own preschool down at Canford Magna. The children come up to the church once a term and the Children & Families Pastor is a regular face teaching songs and bible stories.

HOLIDAY CLUB 2024! - Tuesday 13th-Friday 16th August.
Sticky Church - Bi monthly we hold an event called ‘Sticky Church’, Come and join us to do a variety of construction activities as well as challenges, hear a bible story and join for a light tea. For all the family. For more info Contact Ruth.
