may be of use to you, your neighbours, or other people you know.
Practical Help, Shopping, Prescriptions etc
If you or someone you know are in need of practical help or support with things like shopping, collecting supplies or anything else then we would love to help and support you as best we can. Please email us here at: email@example.com or if you do not use email ring 01202 887733. We are doing this in consultation and with the support of our local GP surgery and school.
Transport: Wimborne Area Neighbour Car
For people aged 50 or over and living in Wimborne and surrounding areas who do not have access to transport,

The Lantern Befriending Service
One-to-one companionship and support for older people living alone in our local community. This is a free service for people over 60, living alone who have very few or no social visitors. The Service is operating in partnership with The Harvey Practice Doctors Surgery. A dedicated Lantern Befriending Service leaflet (which includes a referral form) is available in the Lantern Church or the Harvey Practice. To access the food bank, before you can collect your parcel, you need to ask for a voucher.

Wimborne Community Food Supply
This operates out of the Allendale Centre and offers free meals that can be heated up at home aswell as other supplies e.g. tins, soup, cakes, tea/coffee. It's open Monday to Saturday, 10.00am till 3.00pm and is open to anyone in need, no vouchers or referral required. All enquiries should be made in person directly to the Allendale Cafe or contact Karen Franklin firstname.lastname@example.org
Debt Advice and Support
As a Church we support CAP a UK wide debt counselling service. If you would like to talk to someone about debt issues, then call this Freephone no.: 0800 328 0006 to speak to someone from the friendly client services team at CAP Head Office.
