Mission
As a church we are passionately committed to mission. As we are part of the Canford Team Ministry we give part of our annual budget (13%) to the central parish mission committee who pass the money onto projects & people sharing about Jesus with those abroad & in this

Short Term Mission
Through a number of contacts we have set ourselves a goal of 2 short term missions trips per year with Lantern members using their gifts & talents to make a difference.
Romania - completing houses which are being built after 160 families lost their homes when the Danube River flooded in Apr 06. After the truck load of goods went out to Chiselet in October we held a presentation evening in January to thank the many people who gave goods and money so generously. We are now busy planning for more working visits this year.
